Last updated: April 1, 2026
By accessing or using Chapter13Leads ("Service"), including starting a free trial, you agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP"). Violation of this AUP may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.
1. Permitted Use
Chapter13Leads provides lead data derived from public court records and third-party data providers for lawful business purposes only. You may use the data for direct mail campaigns, telephone outreach (subject to all applicable calling regulations), email marketing (subject to CAN-SPAM), and general business development in the real estate, legal, and financial services industries.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may NOT use Chapter13Leads data to:
- Harass or intimidate debtors. Any communication with individuals identified in the data must be professional, lawful, and respectful. Threatening, deceptive, or abusive contact is strictly prohibited.
- Violate TCPA/DNC regulations. You must comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the National Do Not Call Registry, and all applicable state do-not-call laws. DNC flags provided in the data are for your reference — compliance responsibility rests with you.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data without prior written permission from Chapter13Leads. You may share data within your organization for internal business use, but you may not sell, lease, or provide access to the data to third parties.
- Discriminate. You must not use the data in any way that violates the Fair Housing Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, or any federal, state, or local anti-discrimination law. Lead data must not be used to deny housing, credit, insurance, or employment based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status, disability, or any other protected class.
- Engage in predatory practices. You must not use the data to target vulnerable individuals with misleading offers, excessive fees, or fraudulent schemes.
- Violate any applicable law. You are responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local laws in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and state consumer protection statutes.
3. Data Security
You must take reasonable measures to protect the confidentiality of lead data, including limiting access to authorized personnel within your organization and not storing data in publicly accessible locations.
4. Acceptance
By starting a free trial or subscribing to Chapter13Leads, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Acceptable Use Policy. This AUP is incorporated by reference into the Chapter13Leads Terms of Service.
5. Enforcement
Chapter13Leads reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates this AUP, with or without notice. No refund will be issued for accounts terminated due to AUP violations.
